Lottery scam alert from WCLC warns against prize fantasies
The Western Canada Lottery Corporation warns that winning letters and emails are scams asking for fees and taxes. They urge people to ignore solicitations and contact police or the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre. No legitimate lottery requests personal or financial data or fees to claim a prize.
