Roblin Village Council Minutes and Appointments 1946
Regular meeting Oct 2 1946 chaired by Mayor G Kelso with full council. Minutes from Sept 1 and Sept 17 and Oct 2 court of revision adopted. Electric Light and other municipal accounts approved for payment. Frank Collins resignation as assistant engineer accepted. George Pearson appointed assistant engineer at 125 per month. Licenses and building permits granted. Union of Manitoba Municipalities membership fee paid. Tax sale bylaw 368 passed and bylaw 3869 appointing Ronald Patterson Jakeman as Secretary Treasurer approved. Special meeting Sept 17 1946 notes include McWhirter resignation and Jakeman appointment at 110 monthly. Court of revision confirmed changes of ownership on assessment roll. Meeting adjourned.
