Red Cross Auxiliary Formed in Roblin District
Saturday afternoon the Roblin District formed a Red Cross Auxiliary. Elected were Miss L Jolliffe as chairman, Mrs F Y Newton as vice chairman, Miss L Russell as secretary, and Mrs A G McBean as treasurer. Representatives to the District Red Cross Board include Miss B Mitchell and Mrs W Thompson. Working societies include Roblin, Tumell, Deepdale, Merrill Home Economies, Merridale, Silverwood, and Winnipes workers. The auxiliary will distribute Red Cross and War Contingent Supplies and ship finished materials to Winnipes, funded by the Red Cross District Board. The move advances Manitoba Red Cross organization.
