Prefontaine seeks election for fledgling PPP of Canada
Dauphin Swan River Marquette voters will choose Oct 14 as Charles Prefontaine runs in the riding for the People’s Political Power Party of Canada PPP one of two candidates for the party. Prefontaine, born in Ste Rose and with roots in Roblin and Winnipeg plans a late campaign with a town hall Oct 9 in Roblin. He promotes a family based platform prioritizing First Nations issues and a diversified economy including co operatives and barter systems while inviting ideas from other parties. The PPP is seeking official status and aims to raise public awareness of its platform and debate ideas nationwide.
