Local residents Fred Brooks of Grandview and W Middleton of Togo spent days in town on business. L Little returned after a visit to Ferguant. Jack Belton, teaching at Shortdale, spent the weekend home. Law Kulberg returned from Winnipeg hospital. Robert Harvey learned of his father’s death in Smethwick England at age 66. Nicholas Van der Maaén and Jeossie Fergusom married at the Wilson home with Rev Robert Harvey officiating. Mrs Sirrett was guest of honor at a Society meeting at Mrs CG Oba’s home. The missionary work and society service were praised by Mrs J L Mitchell and Mins Agnes Young, who died in Livingstone, with Rev W J Logus leading the service.
