Manitoba considers limits on non resident land voters
Manitoba introduces Bill 7 to amend the Local Authorities Election Act addressing 1998 court findings on non resident land owners voting. The proposal sets a two owner limit per parcel and takes effect for the October 2002 municipal election. Public and municipal groups including the Association of Manitoba Municipalities commented.
