Shell River Council Minutes Adopts Minutes and ByLaw Actions
The meeting, chaired by the Reeve with Councillors Stevenson Stewart Staple and Thompson present, adopted the minutes and approved delegates to the Municipal Convention with $30 expenses. Payments were approved for J. Cowan road work and water rights, road by laws, compensation applications, and multiple accounts. The council authorized hospital account collection with joint suit, and adjourned on Reeve’s call. A Brandon Sun item notes Lieut.-Col. Stevenson receiving the DSO for actions in 1918.
