Auxiliary bingo decision at fun fair meeting
Legion Ladies Auxiliary met on Tuesday November 13 with President Velma Buick presiding. Ten members attended as Frances reported the fun fair bingo raised 38 dollars and Ruth Zimmer moved to not run bingo next year, car ried, then tabled on a later motion. Card party set for December 8, and purchases approved for plastic containers. A Christmas party with gift club exchange and supper at China Rose was planned. Gratitude extended to poppy tea volunteers and donations made for Heart and Stroke and Mae Evans memorial. Ways and Means draw won by Ruth Zimmer. Meeting adjourned by Sylvia Nylyforak.
