Cost of living in Toronto misleads on family finances

A Canadian Grocer analysis recalculates a Toronto family weekly budget. It argues the reported $40.11 cost for a five member family and $35 wages misstate reality, showing actual costs around $35.46 for two children with wages from $36.07 to $46.01 plus possible $3.80 in family allowances, producing a surplus rather than shortage.
