Portage la Prairie Overpass Opens With Upgrades
Portage la Prairie sees a new overpass on the Trans Canada opened Wednesday to improve safety for road and rail traffic. Infrastructure Minister Ron Lemieux credits on time completion to crews and good weather. The redesign raises CN rail clearances, improves approaches, and the project costs total about 19 million dollars including detour work.
