Liberal Conservative Convention Nomination in Roblin
The Liberal Conservative Association in Roblin held a full Empire Theatre meeting last Saturday to nominate F Newton by acclamation as party standard bearer for the coming election. Newton pledged support for the Liberal Conservative platform while Major F G Taylor led a strong evening addressing the party’s program and calling for stable government. Ruthenian farmers and local leaders joined the gathering, which overflowed the hall and left many stands.
