NDP unveils five point rural health care plan in Virden
Manitoba NDP leader Walt Kinew outlined a five point plan to fix rural health care if the party forms government. The agenda includes doubling the rural doctor recruitment fund, restoring and expanding it, filling paramedic vacancies with equal pay to Winnipeg, improving rural cell service and technology, and boosting ER, imaging, and lab staffing while expanding home and primary care access.
