Goose Lake High stages North Woods nonsense play
Grade 12 drama production directed by John Skinner and Sherri Kelbert ran Wednesday and Thursday. Aaron Yeroschak portrayed a US Congressman bent on flooding national parks and visiting a sasquatch haunted hotel in rural Maine. Cody Paul played the hotel handyman Pete with Brandt Kines as reporter Garry Granite providing comic relief.

New EDO Ben Brodeur Takes Roblin Post After Move
Ben Brodeur began work as the new economic development officer in Roblin on May 15. Born in Winnipeg and with a background in human resources and business, he plans to apply his rural mindset to local progress and development while enjoying the Parkland area and its recreational opportunities. He and his wife Karli recently relocated from Brandon, and he notes family in Grandview wasn’t a deciding factor.
