Loren Halirewich Obituary Highlights Manitoba Farm Life and Motor Interest

Loren Brian Halirewich born January 11, 1956 in Roblin Manitoba was the third of three boys and three girls in the Halirewich family. He grew up on the Silverwood farm before moving in 1968 to the family farm on the Manitoba side near Togo and Roblin. He trained in heavy duty mechanics but chose farming, taking over seeding after four years and expanding the operation with his father and brother Grant. He was known as a lifelong student of the land and of mechanical work while shaping the family farm's yard, equipment and structures.
