Roblin locals note May 24 events with a dentist visit and a football game at Dropmore. Victoria Day closes stores Monday May 21, while voting on the school bylaw occurs Wednesday May 28. A dance is planned at Empire theatre Friday night. Mrs Gill departs for Detroit area, and others visit Winnipeg or Russell for events.
Deepdale will gain a station agent this September. Mr and Mrs Fuller from Winnipeg have moved into the village for the summer. Maud Lawrence, formerly of Owah Sound Ont, is visiting her uncle Mr M Hogue. George Brown and Wm Dupree spent the weekend with Mr and Mrs Chence Brown. Mrs McMasters of Rolla N D arrived Sunday morning to spend a few weeks with her daughters Mrs Chedvins and Mrs Gardner.
