Roblin council keeps taxes steady despite mill rate increase
Roblin residents will not see a tax rise for 2011 though the municipal mill rate climbs by 0.424 mills. CAO Twyla Ludwig says the higher mill rate is offset by provincial tax reductions. The town plans to spend 2.97 million with 923,321 for a new water plant and 1.32 million for capital projects including a copier, software, and a paperless council, plus reserves funding for a water main replacement and equipment.
