The Roblin and District Chamber of Commerce proposes converting the empty 152 Main Street lot into a community space with a gate removed, four to six picnic tables, a garbage receptacle, and a pergola funded by volunteers. Winter use could include holiday decorations or a hot chocolate booth.
Roblin Legion Branch 24 members visited the Legion room at the Community Centre to donate funds raised by a May 6 walkathon. The event brought in 3400, with the branch adding funds to reach a 5000 total for the Roblin Playground Revitalization Committee.
