Minstrel Show Delights Knox Church Audiences
A two night program at Roblin Memorial Hall presented by Knox United Church Young Peoples Union featured the one act comedies High School Daze and Ambition with performances by Arlene Ford Ruth Schwarkowski Ellen Scott Archie Cameron Elaine Nowosund Ian Ford Phil Bauming Victor McBride Doris Edwards Jean Cameron Wayne Kines Shirley Truffan and others. A minstrel show directed by Clem Busby with Al Hamlon as Interlocutor showcased banjoists quartets and a bass soloist. The group plans to raise funds to buy a stage curtain for Memorial Hall.

Mother's Day observance took place in Knox United Sunday school with a service directed by Mr A T Kines.
