The Liberal Progressive convention in Roblin hall May 14 and a Yorkton detachment visit plus a Sports Day committee formed for July 1 are noted along with a sale of farm stock and implements at Williamson s Sale Yard on May 21.

Birth announced of a daughter at Merridale to Mr and Mrs E. Cockerill. First Shetland pony arrives in Merridale. Local social ties refreshed as Alta resident G Saunders renews acquaintances. Mrs Saund ers and Mrs Fred Calver recovering from illness. Merridale Community Club stages March 6 play to a crowded, varied audience. Secretary Mr Penman led preparations with able support. cast and crew praised. A fine supper was served by ladies with many locals involved.
Province of Manitoba requires individuals with income above exemptions to file returns and pay tax by May 20 1932. Corporations must file and pay by May 31 1932. Exemption amounts shown include married households 1500, single 750, dependent children 500, other dependents 500.
