Manitoba debates slow progress on labor and tourism funds
Estimates for Hon. Mr. Paulley’s labor department rose to 2.1 million amid heated exchanges with opposition about labour legislation. Paul Jey’s Civil Service estimates reached 4.6 million amid crossfire over political hiring. Desjarlins’ Tourism and Cultural Affairs requests total 10.8 million with broad support for grants, parks, and sports facilities. Public notes include a heated remark on dirtiest election and Pembina Dam push for irrigation and water access, amid debates on US resource involvement.
