Parks staff visit Roblin for community consultation coffee

Canada Parks staff from Riding Mountain National Park led by Superintendent Michaela Kent visited Roblin for a community Centre event. About 20 residents attended to discuss increasing visitation, urban outreach, and world leadership in resource conservation while stressing area strategy development and cross promotion to boost tourism.

Parkway Co op AGM highlights growth and community impact

Parkway Co op held its AGM in Roblin on April 29 with 132 attendees. President Muriel Lowe honored Art Lovas as Cooperator of the Year as the co op reported a record $34.9 million in sales for 2013, $850,000 in equity payout, and $40,000 in donations and sponsorships across Grandview Roblin and Rossburn.
