CARE Canada urges gifts to send Afghan women to school
CARE Canada appeals to Canadians to donate 46 to honor mothers this Mother's Day. The gift funds one Afghan woman’s training in skills like sewing and livestock rearing, aiding independence and longterm income. CARE reports 50,000 Kabul widows, half in poverty, with 12,000 women trained since 2000. Gifts include a printable certificate.
