Town reveals 2008 budget with 2.54 million in expenditures
Town council forecasts 2008 expenses of 2,535,524.90 with mill rates 65.198 for residential and 81.278 for other properties. Surplus last year aided tax restraint while projects include roof repair at the Community Centre, paving, storm drains, signage upgrades, sidewalk work, and water plant design funding. Public meeting set for May 7 to discuss the plan.
