The 24th Annual Dauphin Agricultural Society Bull Sale on April 22 drew solid buyer interest. Thirty four bulls sold through Auctioneer Lyle Hussenetter for a sale average of 870 dollars, with 28 Herefords averaging 994 dollars. Individual consignors and buyers included E and V Dunn of Silverton selling Dunns 86BM Int 38F for 2125 dollars to Philip Parkin of Kamsack Saskatchewan, Peter Gryba of Grandview selling 44 interest in GPHR Anx Mischief 35F for 1100 dollars to Dave Boyd of Dauphin, and Bill Forbes of Dauphin paying 1200 dollars for a Hereford bull from Emil Gryba. Peter Gryba and Sons averaged 1178 dollars for 44 bulls, John Gryba of Gilbert Plains sold five Hereford bulls for a 1000 dollar average.
