Germans headed for Russell under immigrant program
The Winnipeg Free Press reports 100 German immigrants, 20 families, approved for Russell under Manitoba's immigrant nominee program with Star 7 International coordinating placement. Delays may limit arrival this year, as Russell businesses like Pizzey’s Milling Russell Ready-Mix and Harrowby plant plan to hire locally or overseas workers to fill vacancies.
