Cowling touts partnerships for western economy revival
Dauphin-Swan River PM Marlene Cowling announces a $900,000 PAMWI project funded by federal provincial and municipal partners over three years. The plan covers irrigation land development including piping and power, liquid retention cells, aeration upgrades, and a new effluent pumping station. Cowling says partnerships pool ideas and resources to boost Roblin and western Canada’s prosperity for generations.

Roblin Golf Club looks for solid season under Simpson
Roblin Golf and Country Club opened for the season with about 100 players already hitting the links. Club manager Rick Simpson, new to the role, says greens are in good shape with no winter kill and anticipates finishing cart paths and possibly adding sand traps. The expanded pro shop offers consignment items from Yorkton and in house club repair and custom fitting. With 90 men and 30 women expected in leagues, weather will determine the season's success.
