The W I met April 23 with 12 members and four visitors. Mrs R Henderson reported on the Russell district board meeting. Plan for May 16 convention at Russell and an amateur concert in June. Draw won by Mrs Glen Lester from Flin Flon. A Parcel Post sale, bazaar and silver tea followed a pleasant lunch.

Deepdale Garden Club Holds April Meeting at School
The Deepdale Garden Club met at the school on Thursday April 24 with all but two members present. Two films were shown on Windbreaks for the Prairie and Certified For Seed on the Production of Seed Potatoes. A lesson on solla followed the business meeting, then a study on vegetable garden seed identification. The next meeting is set for 8 o'clock on May 3 at Mrs L Jolliffe's.
