Roblin Council Approves Per Capita Waste Reduction Grant
Roblin council approves a 10 cent per capita grant to the Parkland Regional Waste Reduction and Recycling Committee, the first monetary pledge, while planning drainage work at Memorial Hall funded by an $8,800 Community Places grant. The town also advances park projects, sewer line inspections, and ball park improvements at Currey Park, with stadium upgrades and track extensions planned. Council will seek regional support and review a paving program for 1993 and does not renew Tourism Manitoba membership this year. Dauphin festival invitation extended to the Chamber of Commerce.
