Manitoba on track with 2001 02 budget expenditure forecast
Manitoba Finance Minister Greg Selinger announced a nine month update showing total expenditures 0.3 percent above the 2001 forecast. He cited economic challenges including Sept 11 and a federal accounting error as factors but said the province remains committed to balancing the budget and will release a full statement with next month’s budget.
