Park Council Letter Opposes Hog Manure Ban in Manitoba
Manitoba Park Council objects to a proposed permanent ban on new hog manure storage facilities across southern and eastern Manitoba. The letter argues no credible evidence supports environmental harm from hog farming and questions implementation, economic impact on small farms, and cross-border shifts to North Dakota and Saskatchewan. It calls for collaboration and a rational approach instead of draconian measures.
