Early Roblin Beginnings and Name Originдын
Roblin’s settlement began as Goose Lake in 1908 with the first habitable house south of the Keast residence on 2nd Avenue. Builders included Arden Brothers, Jack Gill, W. Atkey, Dan Norris, Bil Rolston, Ed Levins, Dr. Allen, and Jack Lambkin, among others, as stores, hotels, and a bakery rose. The town’s name arose after a meeting led by Tom Driver with Henry Gill and others, proposing Roblin after Hon. R P Roblin.
