Growth Prospects Good In Manufacturing In Manitoba
Growth prospects for Manitoba manufacturing show direct employment could reach 66,300 and output six billion by 1975 if firms adapt to market changes. Without action, employment would fall to 48,000 and output to 1.16 billion. Expansion depends on population growth, higher incomes, agriculture specialization, development of northern lands, tariff liberalization, and broader international trade.
