Church notices list services at Cromarty and Sunnyshope with Sunday school and preaching times. The Rev L J Adams and Rev Ross Cloyad are mentioned along with a children's story and membership class. Prayer meetings occur midweek and Sundays include evening services.
Minutes of weelung held on March Sti at the municipal ace, Hoban. Present: Reeve Sorbo and Couped ivrs Uhjes, Chase, Schick and Cin bard. Various motions authorize loan renewal of 11000 on Nuya Bank of Canada, transfer from Soldier Settlement Board in lieu of arrears, notification to Mrs A Kat about NW 988 37W sale cancellation if taxes and finance are paid, no more rent to Mrs Luchka after March 31, prepare bylaws, complete sale agreements with Sam Lywark and Peter Hansen, and pass multiple accounts including Royal Bank debenture, Manitoba Telephone System, and various reliefs. Meeting adjourned.
Mr and Mrs E Millar hosted guests of Mr and Mrs Laird while a surprise party at Mr J Schneider’s home brought a joyful gathering. Stewart Simpson returns from Dauphin after an appendicitis operation and shows improvement. Prizes at a Pedro party went to Mrs Black and Mrs Schneider with Mr Caldwell and Mr Klein among the winners. The WI met at Mrs Black’s with a humorous reading by Mrs Edwards. the April meeting will be at Mrs Funk’s.
