Frank Myslichuk of Winnipeg arrived Feb 25 to visit family then traveled with his mother to Flin Flon on Feb 27 to see Uncle Paul Paskiw and later Harold and Shelby Bonazew at Baker's Narrows. Greg Larson of Toulon spent the weekend with Barry Ludwig for ski doo riding amid light snow. Merridale Community Club held a ski doo and sledding afternoon at the Community Center on Feb 27 followed by a pot luck supper. March birthdays include Alana Styba and Matthew Styba, Rose Wutzke, Len Curle, Vern Curle, Ted and Ed Myslichuk, Justin Suidak, Shirley Woodman. Violet Styba and her children went to Swan River Feb 11 for the Northwest Farm Women's Conference at the Westwood Inn.

Memorial service and dinner for Sabina Swidzinski drew Stella Chaplin and Rose Karney with Baranowski family support. Betty Rudd visited mother Vera Davis in Roblin. Emma Eckert traveled from Saskatoon to spend days with Caroline Eckert before returning to Winnipeg. Margaret Funk enjoyed an afternoon visit with an old friend after years apart.
