District News Recalls W.A. History at Meeting

The Women's Auxiliary meeting led by Past President Mrs. Gordon Jory reflected on W.A. days and old minute books. Guests included Mrs. Evans Regina and Mr. Finn Flon. Makaroff Rink Bonspiel Draws Local Teams

Winnipeg visitors Evelyn Beattie Shirley Burns and Jonnay Arnott return home as seven rinks from Makaroff compete in the Togo Bonsple event with 18 rinks in play. Results list winners in several events and Gordon Pound wins biggest end prize. Card of thanks from the Rink Committee thanks donors and workers.

Togo Bonspiel Opens with 200 Rinks Entered

A busy weekend saw many locals travel home from visits to Prince Albert Winnipeg Vancouver and Sudbury while Kipling and Togo hosted bonspiel action. The Togo Bonspiel began Monday at 12 with 200 entrants and recaps note prize winners across Hereford and Farmers divisions.

World Day of Prayer to Be Observed at Bethel Church

Women from Bethel Anglican Free Methodist Greek Orthodox and United Church sponsor a World Day of Prayer service at Bethel Church on Friday March 8 at 3 PM with the theme Who Shall Separate Us prepared by Serena Vassady formerly of Hungary. Everyone is welcome. Groups across Canada will also observe the day with Roblin and Dauphin hosting Friday 8 PM meetings at Roblin United Church inviting members parents and others unable to attend the afternoon service.
