Shellmouth Reservoir raises outflow to curb spring flood risk
Manitoba Water Stewardship increased Shellmouth Reservoir outflows on February 13 near Russell to create storage for spring melt. The Assiniboine River will have more open water with slush on ice and hazards along banks. Snowmobiling and river activities are not recommended.
