Roblin approves disposal site permit with strict conditions
Roblin’s waste disposal ground receives an operating permit through June 15 1993 subject to rules. Waste must be in the active area and compacted with 15 cm cover monthly, soil supplied for compaction, bulky metal and tires placed outside the active area, no burning without approval, and a 1.8 m fence around the active area. Hazardous or petroleum contaminated soils require officer approval. Litter cleanup and burial of animal remains with earthen cover within 24 hours. Council may review by July 15.
