Roblin hosts Progressive Farm Safety Day for local students
A group of 136 grade five and six students from Roblin Elementary School, Grandview School, Parkland Christian School and Chief Clifford Lynxley Anishinabe School joined 35 volunteers at Roblin Community Center on June 5 for eleven safety stations. Danny Lowen of Farmers with Disabilities shared his limb loss experience to inspire safe practices. Stations covered 911 prep, grain, tractor rollover, bear, electrical, sun, fire, ATV and road safety with demonstrations. Lunch funded by Manitoba Dairy Association and Manitoba Pork Council. organizers and sponsors recognized for their support.
