Jean Emma Beattie of Brandon Manitoba died June 11 2015 born June 26 1934 in Kamsack Saskatchewan raised near Makaroff Manitoba She trained as an X ray technician earned a BA and MSW and worked as a social worker in Dauphin and Brandon She volunteered with Scout groups the Western Canadian Aviation Museum and Brandon Art Gallery Survived by daughter Diane and son Gilbert and other relatives She enjoyed poetry public speaking and researching family history
