Winnipeg man jailed with probation for auto insurance fraud
Brent Disbrowe-Bear pleaded guilty to fraud under 5000 and received a conditional discharge. He must write a letter of apology to Manitoba Public Insurance president, serve 15 months probation, 120 hours of community service in a year, and pay 240 dollars restitution. Police traced a false crash report to a witness who provided part of a license plate. MPI SIU noted broad fraud savings and urged tips via the TIPS Line.
