Paddlers Reach Pyott's Camp On Voyage To Ottawa
Thirty three paddlers in three canoes arrive at Pyott's West Campground Sunday afternoon as part of a cross Canada voyage to Ottawa. Sponsored by the Voyageur Brigade Society the trek honors Canada's 150th birthday and highlights water ways and stewardship. The group began in Fort St. James BC and travels through Alberta Saskatchewan Manitoba toward Winnipeg and eastward to meet paddlers from eastern Canada in Ottawa on July 1.

Parkway Co-op AGM Celebrates Year of Growth in Roblin
Members of the Parkway Co-op gathered at the Life & Art Centre on June 13 for their annual meeting. About 30 attendees heard the co operative posted almost $43 million in sales last year.
