Parkland Cleaners and Restoration in Roblin has new owners Ryan and Patty Skjerdal, emigrants from Weyburn Saskatchewan. They bring extensive restoration and plumbing experience and plan to expand operations and staff while splitting time between Weyburn and Roblin to build the business and support the community.

Rural Week exposes first year med students to PMH communities

First year medical students from University of Manitoba visited 15 Prairie Mountain Health communities during Rural Week, May 26 to 30 and June 2 to 6, exploring rural life and healthcare sites. Forty six students toured Brandon to Virden, learning about local practice, with four Ste. Rose du Lac participants noting physicians serving broad catchment areas and efforts to bridge care access.
