Welcome signs to front Roblin entrances planned
Twenty years ago on June 21 Roblin crews began laying foundations for new welcome signs at four town entrances. A self-serve tourist information center was planned for the Manitoba border area beside Lake of the Prairies on Highway 5, to be one of 50 centers installed by Pine Tree Consulting of Dauphin. The town also noted Win de Groot showcasing a 300 plus book collection at the Drop-In Centre, with several titles published before the turn of the century.
