Organizers of the Shell River Jamboree in Boggy Creek report only 40 three day weekend tickets sold as of Thursday for the July event. Last year drew 525 attendees at the Shell River Métis Centre, with a goal of 600 this year. Advance tickets lack early bird pricing, a potential factor. The jamboree runs July 10 to 12 with acts like Tex Pistols and Scott Cornelius, plus crafts, auctions and beavertails. Weekend passes cost 50 per person. daily passes 25. Advance orders available by local organizers.
