Remembering D-Day service led by Rev Maxwell
The Roblin ranch padre of the Royal Canadian Legion 24 leads a Sunday service to mark the 65th anniversary of D-Day. June 6 1944 saw Allied forces land on Normandy beaches with 14000 Canadians at Juno Beach and about 1000 casualties including 400 deaths. The invasion involved over 195000 troops and helped end World War II. Lest we forget. Ed Doering The Review.
