Carbyne spray timing and guidance for wild oats control
Nine days after wild oats emerge is best for spraying Carbyne before oats reach 14 days old. Use about one ounce per gallon water, four to five gallons per acre, on wheat barley and rape seed. Peas flax and sugar beets give satisfactory results but peas may be knocked down temporarily. spray at the base of oats and avoid damp fields. Do not spray with dew or rain, limit wind under 15 mph and handle as a mild skin irritant. Cost can be as low as 3.20 per acre, helping prevent potential yield loss of 28.00 per acre.
