Manitoba Telephone announces uniform rates for subscribers starting June 1. Rural service basic annual is 18 dollars with a one dollar prompt payment discount to 17 dollars, billed quarterly. Local subscribers retain current basic rates with a six dollar annual prompt payment discount. Measured 50 cent and one dollar per month rural rates will be discontinued.
