Manitoba Newspaper Association lauds amendment to public notices law
The Manitoba Association MONAS praises amendments to Bill 19 preserving local newspaper notices for municipal public notices. MCNA president Ken Waddell credits hearings and stakeholders for protecting democratic access while Bill 8 may also remove newspaper posting requirements in the coming fall legislature.
