West Nile Virus Confirmed in Five Manitoba Birds
Manitoba Health reports five birds in the province positive for West Nile Virus as of July 24. A crow in Winnipeg was the latest to test positive. 235 birds have been picked up to date. Of 175 tested, four positive, 120 negative, 51 pending. All sentinel chickens negative. Mosquito traps in Winnipeg on July 16 and 18 also negative. Health Links available for information.
