Brooks Family Reunion Marks 100 Years In Tummel District

Grandchildren of Robert John Brooks and Jane Callin held a 1981 reunion in Manitoba to recall their ancestors 100 years after the Brooks family homestead era began on the Pelly Trail. They toured old farms, visited the Stop-Over House, and honored relatives with church services and a supper at Tummel Church.

Evelyn Morgan dies at 45 in Saskatchewan area

Mrs Evelyn Morgan formerly of San Clara Manitoba died July 19 1981 at Holy Family Hospital Prince Albert Saskatchewan at age 45 Funeral services were held July 23 1981 at St Claire Roman Catholic Church San Clara Interment at St Claire RC Parish Cemetery Pallbearers included Harvey Branconnier Edward Branconnier Louis Branconnier Rene Branconnier Emile Branconnier and Louis Branconnier She left four daughters two sons her parents and seven brothers and seven sisters survive along with four grandchildren.
